Love is, indeed, the strongest force in the world!
Feelings of guilt, subtle and slow,
crept slowly to life, I didn’t see, didn’t know.
Just wanted to help, to feel better in my heart,
never seeing destruction, in making a new start.
The illusion created, in giving new life,
sacrifice in sharing, come fever, come strife.
Ever deeper, more darkly, this hole quickly grew,
Dreaming of Light, my hopes, darkness slew.
The lesson now done, the learning was strong,
Helping another, neither right nor wrong.
Sacrificing myself, to give another their due,
Not really so swift, this I pass on to you.
